Stagefright again.
Big occasion, big crowd and a game on the line equally for both sides and it's another weak no show. Just like the second Adelaide game last year and the like before it. The more things change the more they stay the same
.
Mentally soft and dumb. Geez we have some thickheads when the pressure cooker goes up. It fries their brain and as well as their nerves and it's back to old habits. Time and time again we had players free in the middle and we either ignored them to kick down the line to a 50/50 contest/turnover or we hesitated and held on to the ball for an enternity until we telegraph we were going to them and the ball gets intercepted. We also had players going into contests they shouldn't and take out a teammate going for the ball
or leave it too late and are left in no-man's land OR when they do need to go in they just lazily stay off expecting someone else to put their body on the line.
