True. However our current game style (which has us sitting third) sure beats the hell out of the depressing chip backward style that we saw last year and thus it's much better having people pump us up rather than reading depressing articles bagging us.....

In 1973 Richmond was the first team to have over 1 million spectators attend. And those were the days we had to play at Moorabbin, Arden st, junction oval and lakeside oval etc. We did it again in 1980.

The magpies first broke the 1 million mark in '77 and continued until '81 when their supporters stopped attending due to the mounting GF losses.  :lol
