Aside from Cordner, it's arguably close to our best side since round 1. A lot better looking spine with Wakefield back. Brennan won't have 3 defenders hanging off her.

We've kicked the first 4 goals of the game.

Make that 5 with Lavey bouncing one through on the siren  :gotigers.

Quarter time

Richmond   5.2-32
GWS          0.1-1

Goals: Brennan, Kiely, Lavey, Shevlin, Wakefield

Our best 1/4 qtr apparently and the highest scoring 1/4 qtr by anyone this year.

4 goals off turnovers.

Brancatisano has her legs taken out = no free.

Wakefield takes mark (ball was stationary then punched away) = not paid.

Amazing what long direct accurate kicking to tall marking targets does.

Sansonetti HB to Makur Chuot HF to Brennan. Katie misses though.

Half-time

Richmond    5.2    5.3-33
GWS           0.1    2.2-14

Goals: Brennan, Kiely, Lavey, Shevlin, Wakefield

Beaten in the contest during that second quarter. A reverse of the first. Mids and HFs need to lift.

Bernardi good mark on 50. Then gets paid 50m which brings her to the goal-line. Goal!  :gotigers

Ferguson said after the game last week she's banged up. So playing sore.

Better transition from defence starting with Miller on the last line of defence.

Good forward pressure. Tackle after tackle. Brennan wins the HTB free 20m out directly in front. Goal!  :gotigers

Rich  7.3-45
GWS 2.2-14
