really impressed with all this young man has done thus far - from all indications has a terrific attitude, is blazing the training track and has many of the attributes we lack...looking forward to watching him off half back early and then develop with our other young players to form the nucleus of a gun onball division in the future...

Dropped in to Tigerland late this morning to purchase a new media polo (thanks again for the voucher OE & WP ;) )  and a few other odds and ends.

Walking back to the car I passed Tuck, Webberley and Ellis.

I'll tell you what, Ellis is a MASSIVELY SOLID unit. Not overly tall, but gee whiz he is an absolutely SOLID bastard. Needs to bulk up the calves, but otherwise, the proverbial barrel.

It's not pink. It's 'Magenta moonlight'.

Well I am sure he would have "relished" the "high altitude training" if we had done it  ::)

Tempe in Arizona is nearly 1200 feet above sea level. This is where the camp was held and is obviously a far higher altitude than Punt Rd.

Crikey Damo, I live about 2400 feet above sea level so they could have saved a few bucks and had a run around my back yard. Could you mean 1200 metres?  ;D

True but the Club was very clear in saying that weren't doing the "high altitude" training that the likes of the Pies & N0rt were doing. Our focus was on using the elite facilities and our training was based around that.

No, Cotchin deflated that story in his interview.

* Facilities at the club are brilliant now. Matched what we saw over in the US so we are lucky to have them.
