All the competition's tough players make Brandon scared. He has shirked hard contests from day one. However, he has been allowed to play without contested ball commitment since he started so it has been condoned. And he is certainley not alone in this area. Two thirds of our list are exactly the same. Right now we have another player or another Ellis (Corey) doing the same. This guy was receuited as a inside mid. Yet has has never been seen on the bottom of a pack ever just like Brandon.

The end result is there is no toughness at Richmond. When we lost  Coughlan, Tuck, Jackson and Foley we lost our strength as a club. We mighy as well join the A League.
Is this due to coaching, recruiting or culture??

5. Does Brandon Ellis rebound in 100th game?

After an excellent 2014, Ellis's progress has stalled in the past season-and-a-half. His short-comings were brought into stark focus last week when he was tagged by Sam Gibson and unable to adjust his game to have an impact, finishing with seven possessions, his lowest since 2013. On Sunday, in his milestone game, the 22-year-old matched his seven possessions from last week in the first quarter, and kicked on to finish with 24. He wasn't among his team's best, but there were moments where he put his body on the line and he did enough to turn the tide on a form line that had started to threaten his position in the team.

Squib of the highest order this bloke. Just doesn't want to get involved physically at all or go anywhere near a contest where he might get bruised. TRADE!

I've been a tough critic of Grigg's but he's having an excellent year. Tackling and going after the contested ball a lot more than previous years and is playing some good attacking football.

Definitely lifted his game to another level in 2016.

Think he's benefiting from playing a role that suits him more. His defensive efforts can still leave a bit to be desired but he's cracking in
