looks like the swans have jumped in on dion what could Sydney offer GC that we cant...

If they're not going to give TM 500 how an earth are they going to offer DP 700 over 4?
Rubbish IMO.

I have no problem taking our picks to the draft if our targets are bust, but geez we'd want more than 6 and 26 to go forward with.

I'd prefer to trade out our entire list for picks and future picks.

Save cap space for when we are remotely close to top 4. Prestia will be finished by the time we are top 4 again IMO. Trading pick 6 for him would be a disaster.

If we trade Lids I'd prefer us to keep the pick than to on trade it to GC especially if it was a decent pick.

Got a bit of inside news that GWS's James Stewart will request a trade to Essendon.

My Blues source telling me a Queensland club has enquired about Andrejs Everitt. Wouldn't take much, on the outer at the Blues.

I can also for the first time reveal that North are heavily pursuing contracted Bomber David Zaharakis. Out of contract at the end of '17, Zaharakis, who is currently O/S, has left his manager in charge of negotiations

In other news, talks continue to progress between injury plagued Giant Paul Ahern + NM

Last year it was the Cats, RFC, always the inbred second cousin.

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

1/3 #whispers that meetings between GWS + ESS have netted interesting results. On the topic of the #1 pick, GWS have offered...

2/3 Several deals to ESS, including a deal for Patton. While it's no shock ESS/Dodoro rejected that offer, another trade is on the table...

3/3 during their discussion, ESS revealed they had interest in young gun Josh Kelly, with GWS open to a negotiation.

Let's trade Edwards for pick 1, by the way just pay Dusty $3m a year for 10 years
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

I would try:

- Pick 6 + B Ellis to GCS for pick 9 + Prestia (need to shop Ellis and GCS wants players)
- Deledio + pick 43 to WB for pick 18 + Koby Stevens (must trade Lids at his age still with currency, Stevens worth a look IMO)
- Pick 9 + pick 26 to SYD for pick 14 + pick 17 + Toby Nankervis (pick 9+26 have similar value to 14+17, Syd have made it clear they want to go up the draft order so they clearly want to draft a player they're not entitled to in their academy that they think will be gone by 14 - hopefully they're prepared to trade their 4th ruck preference to do this)
- Pick 14 + 17 + 18 to the draft OR trade to Brisbane for Rockliff, Hanley and their 2nd round pick (pick 20?)

Shop Edwards and Lennon for currency to acquire KPPs - specifically Tomlinson and Marchbank to shore up both ends. Young and have shown good potential. I think this is very doable.

Out:
Pick 6
Pick 43
Deledio
Vickery
B Ellis
Edwards
Lennon

In:
Prestia
Rockliff
Hanley
Nankervis
Stevens
Tomlinson
Marchbank
