Must must must play Gus, put the acid on him, if he can't perform against a side with no ruck then thats it for him IMHO. In all honesty he should have about 20-30 hit outs, 10 marks, 2-4 goals and about 10-15 possessions.

Don't give me that crap about first game back, expecting too much ra ra ra, he is playing against a team with no ruck, if he can't rack up the numbers in this game he never will!!!!!

Astbury's had his three games, so no surprise to me that he's been given some time in the two's to regain some confidence.

Collo, on the other hand ...... Was it lack of defensive pressure?  Failure to stand up under the pump?  Is he carrying an injury?

From where I was sitting on the weekend I reckon your 2nd suggestion would be the first thing and your first suggestion wouldn't be too far behind. As for an injury - I don't think so

Webbs was nowhere near our worst last week. Having mid-teen disposals is a decent debut.

Graham vs Skipper in the ruck ...... now that's worth the price of admission alone  ;D

Our midfield is at least a fraction stronger. I think this is the first game for the year that Axel, Lids, Cotch and Dusty are in the same side.

I am getting a bit hopeful for this game but I know the Dawks will be pumping themselves up for this game as the one to get their season back ontrack.

Anyway what will happen will happen

Um.... no.... have you been on Earth for long MM... ;D, They have been rucking Roughead mate because they have no options, all their rucks are out injured. Please name their frontline ruckman that is in the side????

What? ::)

Renouf is a ruckman isn't he? Averaging 19 hitouts a game this year.

Sorry, I didn't realise Renouf was back in, prior to him though they had Roughead rucking as they had no one else. Gus should beat him IMO, Renough is not IMO a very good ruckman.

I agree WAT Renouf isn't much chop compared to other ruckmen in the comp. but unfortunately he's still better than Gus. I'm just hoping we don't make a dud like Skipper look like a star today  :-\.
