I would like to at least keep him on the rookie list going into the draft and then elevate him with a pick if there is no one left we want to take, will give us more options

But you have to nominate rookies to the main list before the draft.

I don't think you can do it after the draft
Pretty sure you can use a draft pick to elevate them

LET THE CLEAN OUT BEGIN!

Hardwick, Hislop can not kick the football and must be delisted! Do not go soft and keep Hislop! Jake King who YOU sent back to Coburg has now played that forward-tackling role you had Hislop playing in the beginning!

King is A LOT better then Hislop!

Who's to say that Hardwick can't improve Hislop like he did with King?

And you may not think I care for you

Cousins - Gourdis
Simmonds - O'Rielly
I don't know if you mean these two will be taking their spots on the senior list
I certainly hope we keep both on the rookie list and then choose them as our nominated rookies on the senior list for next year so they don't need to be elevated to play

O'Rielly probably not but Gourdis I think has done enough to suggest he deserves a spot on the list to be play Round 1 with the same chance of playing as McGuane or Thurstfield.
But if he's a nominated rookie then he can play from Round 1 anyway as he takes a place of a veteran we don't have, it's effectively a senior spot but gives us more flexibility
I would like to at least keep him on the rookie list going into the draft and then elevate him with a pick if there is no one left we want to take, will give us more options

Yeah I can see your reasoning, in a diluted draft we may elect to elevate Gourdis over taking a 70-80 draft pick.

Mentally four Gourdis, it makes sense to reward Gourdis, how many years has been at the club working hard for a spot?
Go Tigers!

Cousins
Simmonds
McMahon
Polak
Moore
Jackson
McGaune
Polo
Nahas
Thomson
Hislop
Gilligan
White

that'd be the ones looked at. If we could trade up our 3rd and 4th picks in the draft this would be nice

If we're keeping him that would certainly be my preference

Gourdis has earned his upgrade. ORLY should remain on the rookie list. I'd trade Nahas and use Hicks and ORLY as the two nominated rookies at the start of next season.

Will Contin get another year? Got the feeling Gilligan was close to a call up at the start of the year before going back to WA that effectively stuffed his year up. One of them has to be cut. I'd keep Gilly.

Gilligan should definitely go before Contin. Contin has only had 1 season and Gilligan went AWOL for half the season.

Rance to Freo?

Tarrant wants out, they'll need a tall back.

He would be traded for the right deal.

So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
