Didn't even know this was on, I sure didn't receive an email from the club about it.

Email came out about 3-4 weeks ago

Club seems to be having a few "issues" with its CRM system

Know a few people who haven't been getting emails  :-\

Disappointing for sure. Must email the club about it as would have been keen to go.

I might be alone on this but I'd prefer the club invest 300 large on player development rather than a few hundred get on the sauce for an evening midweek . There are lots of ops for folks to mingle , family day, beaconsfield training day that top a night like this  :thumbsup

I was very impressed too. Got a jumper signed by every player (only King and Morris absent I believe). Food and drinks were fantastic. I would have liked to have seen more interviews and entertainment from the club on stage though. The band was serviceable, the MC average but Dimma and the players spoke well. A few 'Inside Tiger-'like' games on stage would have been fun. They could have even made it an auction with a few players pairing up with members on stage who had won their place in an auction and then pair had a fun game on stage to win a bigger prize. Could be a handball comp or a pin the tail on the Tigger or anything like that.

All in all though it was a great night and I'll be keen to go again next year  :thumbsup

Agree with this. Whilst I would have liked to have gone I reckon it's a bit of a waste of the club's money.

Depends if they raise more money at the event through auctions etc than the event actually costs them.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

You reckon it's costing them $300k to put it on?
