Simply someone was posting cleverly fooling everyone pretending to be Tony Free.

Turns out the imposter was posting on Y&B at precisely the same time as the real Tony Free was at the Tom Hafey club function, as witnessed by a club official.

tat's gimmick if it was one, is one of the great internet gimmicks of all time, i just read y&b lol ... its comedy capers over there at the minute lol, people sending IP addresses to the club, statements on the site about the issue, as Bill Lawrie likes to say, Its all happening.

For what reason I don't know.  Seems they don't like criticism.
Could you explain how it was a scam?

For what it's worth, which I'm sure you barely care about as a strong individual several others have since got on the conspiracy theory bandwagon on that board so you arent alone.  Although they werent quite as forthright as you in their language.

After being told I wasn't worthy of joining their secret little forum where they used to bag Rosy and everyone else I suspect, hard not to imagine why you wouldn't want to be associated with the site.
I tried to get over it, but always in the back of my mind that they could still have their little forums and who wants that.  Not I.

I'm certainly not trying to start that Infamy, I just think as Moi has been (I assume) IP blocked from the site since Moi cant even read the forum it was valid to show the final post directed directly at the member but they cant see it to be able to read it.

There was no intended bitterness in my post towards Y&B, I enjoy both sites and their cultures.

Okay people enough. I left this open because I found it amusing how serious some were taking it but this has nothing to do with OER so time to move on. Take your specific issues with it elsewhere. We don't care  .
