He was great there for a couple of seconds tho.

Ah no
He was terrible
We had 3 players yesterday
He was up against a junior ruck and was thrashed. Yet you support his selection at 28 years of age. Then you have the gall to want to get rid of a junior who's has had a horror year of illness and injury. Do you wonder why people are questioning your judgement?

Seriously he has carried out ruck division this year with no pre season
Get with it will you
As for Lennon , watching the twos , he ain't good enough
End of story

Mate, he's only there because the club is run by stuffn dreaamers and they've never bothered to get a
decent ruckman.

How did Lennon ever get a Rising Star nomination? I would say judges better than you or I rated him when he was fully fit.

I think you should get off the Lennon bashing bandwagon. The guy is still a junior and has had a horror run this year.

Hammer is 28 and won't improve any more. He is just barely ok as a back up ruck, which is what he has had to do as Maric is cooked. He is not the way forward if we are to ever win a premiership. Yet Lennon fully fit and in form could well be. That is the difference. I look at talent that may win us number 11. You look at supporting guys with very little talent that may try hard but will never ever win us a flag. We have gone down that path for 30 years picking up has beens from other clubs. Has it worked? No!!! It's time to back our kids and our 5 top liners. We also need to play a far more direct style of football as the indirect style is killing our juniors. I don't want to just make the 8. I want to make top 4 with a side that will have a chance to win the flag. Talents like Lennon can help us do that. Sure has been poor of late but he also had no preseason and many injuries during the year. Then he has had no continuity in where he plays at all. Poor development by Hardwick.

Hampson has tried hard and is a top bloke no doubt but he isn't the future, If you don't realise that then there is no point discussing this any further.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

At least two AFL clubs questioned Jack's judgement when they gave him the arse.... :shh

So no pre-season is a good enough disclaimer for Hamspud but not for Lennon with a shoulder injury on top of that? Interesting...

one is nice to jj the other isnt, not hard to work out which one.

lennon has talent, he should be good enough.

Hamspon would be rejected by the McCain chip factory and end up as potato starch is some vegan desert.

jUDGE EM ALL BY THEIR PROS AND CONS OR STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES.In many cases you also have decent performance history to judge by.

Ben Lennon certainly does not tick all the boxes and does have some concerning attributes. He also has some real good attributes and had his share of injury problems.
Where is the patiencewith him.

I dont believe we should be talking him up because he just has not done enough strugged thru injury and does has some alarming weaknesses. But surely we can at least afford him the time to prove himself taking into account all these  things.
He needs to get a wriggle on but all is not lost.

You really back the club Jack after how they have treated us members?

Hampson is not a great footballer as a whole but his year has been servicesble. I look at Hawks McEvoy and he ain't much chop either.

He doesn't contract or select himself, so I blame the club for every player on this list.
