I have said this a million times... DUSTY IS GOING NOWHERE. ..

When you have 10 birra morettis and think you can read the future...:lol

Only Dustin himself would have 100% certainty on this and even then he could change his mind...

Wouldn’t trade him for any realistic offer that would be made. Rather have one of our greatest players ever stay a tiger for life.

If he wanted to leave, different story. I wouldn’t begrudge him for doing so nor would I begrudge Dimma in the hypothetical situation where he was at a rival team and lured dusty over.

I don’t buy that this story has any legs to it. Basically same recycled material they’ve been using since the 2021 season.

McQualter praised star Dustin Martin for his pivotal role in the heart-stopping victory.

“Dustin’s level is so high and I think to be able to maintain that high level is something that he probably doesn’t get enough credit for.

“Every single week he puts himself in a position to help us win games of football.”

As crazy as it seems, Dustin Martin continues to fly under the radar this season.

He is averaging 22.6 disposals, 1.1 goals and 7.0 score involvements per match this season, which are elite individual statistical numbers at the game’s highest level.

Fox Footy said Dusty is ranked 2nd in the comp. only behind Toby Greene in that forward/mid role.

"Dusty is the eighth highest rated player over the last six weeks in the competition. However, in first quarters, he is ranked 291st. So he is a slow starter in games."

“The interesting one as well in 'Dusty' (Dustin Martin). Over the last six weeks, he’s the eighth highest rated player in the competition, but in first quarters he’s 291st.”

Martin has attended [the centre bounces] a quarter or less across the last four games.

With that in mind, Hoyne suggested the idea of getting the Brownlow Medallist into the action earlier in games.

“I need to have a bit of a look at the vision component, but I wonder if you’re mirroring the two up… Richmond starts slowly, Dusty starts slowly, he’s playing as a forward 50 player and then they get him up into the action when they’re a few goals behind and then he gets going,” he added.

“So I just wonder whether or not they need to look at that magnet in the first 20 minutes of matches and actually start him at centre bounce and then release forward.”

Dusty is looking ominous as Tigers push for finals

Martin was looking dangerous throughout the nail-biting match, but he was particularly influential up forward for the Tigers in a high-scoring affair. Not only did he kick a team-high three goals, he had a 11 score involvements (another team high) from his 21 disposals.

21 disposals (14k, 7h, 9c, 10u, 85.7% eff.)
2 marks
2 tackles
4 clearances (1 centre clearance)
5 inside 50s
354 metres gained
3 intercepts
11 score involvements
2 goal assists
3 goals
2 behinds
87% time on ground

A poo hot performance from dusty. He was still giving it his all when we were 3 goals down with time left on the board to snatch victory when everyone else was going limp.

We’re still mathematically a chance to make finals and I would love to see what he can bring in an EF

I was amazed how many times Dusty was ignored yesterday, he set himself up for a return pass in space so he could kick inside 50, NADA, IMHO he is one of our best deliverers inside 50.

Or was that just my incorrect observation ??

Making sure he doesn't get injured before he joins Dimma on the Goldy

"There are a lot of big questions facing Richmond now.

"Gold Coast are definitely interested in Dustin Martin.

"Personally, I'd be staggered if Dustin Martin doesn't play his 300th game in the yellow and black, but they are interested."
