Would like to have seen Lennon come in rather than Elton.

Don't need a 2nd ruckman as such and again this week we don't  ;D

Todd was very good down at windy Willy, kicked 3 IIRC & took numerous strong marks

Agree. Would have liked if they tried something different.

Look forward to the weekly Elton Soldo rotation

The new Tivendale/Hyde double act.

Don't think it'll quite as long a run though...

Prefer Elton to Soldo at this stage, Elton at least competes more often than not. Good settled lineup, reckon we'll smash the dons - but not by 10 goals...

Operation.stop Zach Merrett needs to be in full swing.  Lambert the perfect man for the job.

But we do need another tall fwd. fmd theres just riewoldt and elton and elton will spend time in the ruck.
We are a crazy short side and i reckon over the last 4 or 5 weeks sides are exploiting it. Its not as if the 10 or so smalls we play each week  are a or even b graders,

The way we play and the structures we use will not win us any big games.

Thing is this week the bombers have a lot odf smalls as well but at least they have good structure with enough talls around their smalls.

Two most important ins for Essendon: Stevic & Deboy

Elton can only dream of producing the play that Soldo produced last week (solid grab then beautiful kick to Grigg). Sure he needs to provide a lot more and not go missing but I think it's glimpses like those that make you think he'll be better long term than Elton and therefore should be played
