I couldn't make it this week TM. They would've had their main session today.

My uni schedule makes me unable to attend any of the training sessions.  I wish I could go to more than just the ones where my classes get cancelled.  :-[

Training today was at Punt Rd this morning. The last session in Melbourne as the final training session is in Perth on Thursday.

A pretty light session (for most of them) as they only trained for 30 mins and a few guys were missing.

We spoke to the head physio and he said Thursty's shoulder will be fine. He may still need an op on his AC but his injury isn't too dissimilar to Sarge's a few years ago and he's had no problems since. Newy said he'll be fine although he was still not 100%. Jacko (ankle) and Edwards (eye) trained fully. I was late to training so I didn't see Cuz but he was out there signing autographs. Ch 10 said he didn't train but apparently he'll still play on Friday night because he wants to against his old club at Subi. Foley also came out to sign some autographs. He's just got off his crutches although he's still hobbling.

Those I saw training today were - Rainesy, Simmo, Polly, Jack, Edwards, McMahon, Polo, McGuane, Newy, Rance, Putt, Morton, Tuck, JON, Jacko, Cogs, Hislop, Vickery, Tambo, Thomson, Gourdis, White, Silvester, Post, Nahas, Connors, Moore, Browne, Gus, Gilly and King.

As I said most had a light session. King and Hislop were given a faair workout sprinting back and forth along a line of the centre square. They were both totally stuffed coming off. Poor Hislop struggled to get the lid off the texter when asked for an autograph and the kid had to do it for him  :lol. A lesson in not getting yourself suspended.

We asked Cogs and Rainesy if they were playing this week and both didn't know. They didn't look that happy either but that could be reading too much into their demeanour.

Ta guys for the kind words  :cheers. When preseason training starts hopefully there's quite a few new more talented faces added to the group. It'll be interesting to see how Hardwick's first preseason differs from training under Jade and Plough.

Yep, thanks MT, and again we will be relying on you (and RR and others) for our off-season 'fix'.  You guys will be best placed to let us know how different this coming pre-season is and I pray (even though I'm not religious) your reports say "wow, how hard is this"!

Yes thank you so much for the reports MT as always I value your reports more than anyone being so far removed from the action. If anyone can report on the coaching differences next year between past and present coaches you can..... and I can't wait for your first report in 2 months... :lol.

Great stuff mate!! :thumbsup
