Went to training this morning.  Took a few photos / videos (will upload when I get home).  Edwards definitely looks bigger this year.  I was surprised to see that Connors was mainly training with the defensive group.  Jumpin' Jack was definitely the most vocal during training, trying to put off his opponent as much as possible.  My favourite was "Don't let the coach's hair put you off"  :hihi  It's a bit hard to tell the difference between some of our talls now, with their new haircuts.  Rance is an absolute tank.  White shaved his hair.

If Post ever wanted a career in the NFL as a quarterback, he'd probably succeed.  Can throw a massive spiral pass.

If you have any particular questions, just ask and I'll try to field them as best as I can.

Did we look like we are as one, or are we looking like a lot of individuales out there ?
I know it is only training, but it does transfer to the feild.

Polak was there.

We did look pretty team-oriented, apart from one lapse in concentration from Jack and Posty.  There were poles with pointy bits on the end of them, and these 2 made them into makeshift javelins to throw around for a bit (though this was when training was winding down).

What type of drills were they doing? Was there any other surprizes with players playing in groups you wouldn't have expected?

They were doing handballing, contested marking, contested situations (body work), and tackling.

I think I saw Vickery briefly working with the defenders, but that was mainly to work on contested marking.  Post and Polak were in the forward group.  I didn't see Lids, but he might have been down the other end.

Cotch was doing laps around the oval for the whole session (with breaks, of course).  Collins trained with the group, but only for about 3/4 of the session.

Cheers for that Danog. Fingers crossed Cotch can start full training again in December  :pray

One other question - Is Farmer doing any training yet or is he still in rehab?

Farmer did full training.  I'll be posting the pics and (possibly, if they're not enormous) videos on PRE in a bit.  I can't be stuffed posting them on 4 seperate forums, so it'll have to do.  I'll provide a link when it's done.

Cheers Danog  :cheers

Like the last clip. First time i watched it i thought gee they look unco for afl footballers, then i realised it was a left handed drill.
It actually makes you wonder about the junior development. They are the sort of things that should be done all through the teens so when they get to this stage those basic drills should not have to be done.

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
