Relton looks in unreal knick!

I saw him at Flinders Street Station wearing an old school Richmond jumper from the 80's. Was the coolest thing Ive seen in ages. What a legend!

I popped into Punt Rd this morning to watch training. A light session which isn't too surprising given the 6-day break and coming off the hard slog in the rain and mud last week. All the boys did was a bit of kick-to-kick, some marking over bags and a bit of goalkicking.

I didn't notice McGuane, Cuz and Cotch there today but I may have just missed them as I was talking to friends and concentrating more on who outside of last week's side trained with the squad - Thursty, Simmo, Rance, Morton, Post, Contin and Connors. Connors is a week away of course. Interesting that Contin was there.

Simmo was given a round of applause at the end of training and lead the boys up the race into the rooms.

Thanks for the update, MT.  Is Contin one of those outside mids that Dimma said we need during his On The Couch interview on Monday night?

Contin is more inside mid than outside to me at 183cm, 83kg. He also played across HB in our practice match against Collingwood earlier in the year. He looked to have good footy smarts and decent skills. Probably needed to work on his fitness and do some speed work like Axel did. I liked him from the few games I've seen him play since joining us.

He's always going to be on the solid bulky side. Relts is no JON lol. It's whether he/us can improve his endurance not only to last 4 quarters but also to get from contest to contest so he finds the ball.
