Lynch and Baker trained fully.
No physical signs on Balta's face of the altercation.
Graham still in doubt for round 1 although he apparently trained fully as well.
Hopper managed. Ch 7 shows him walking laps. Ch 9 showed him involved in a kicking drill.
Sonsie trained fully too.

Short, Pickett and Bauer shown in the rehab group.

Tarrant shown training with the main group jumping up and down and doing handball drills but he's been ruled out for round 1 based on what Meehan said in the last injury update.

'Spy' says Graham, Ross, Sonsie and Cumberland all trained fully along with Prestia.

Surely not Ross. Thought he had ligament damage in his knee?

Just passing on what I heard, TK. Meehan was quite positive about Ross' recovery and prospects to train in his last injury update.

Jack Ross, knee

"Unfortunately, Jack hurt himself in the last session before the Melbourne game. Things have improved quite a lot since then and similar to Dion, we're hoping that he'll improve a lot and be able to train (in the main session) next Tuesday and be available, but (he's) probable at this stage."

Interesting. You’d think he’d be heavily considered for the wing spot with Pickett all but ruled out.

Training update:

Pickets, Short, Graham, Sonsie and Ross trained fully. So Marlion looks right to play Thursday night unless we want him to play a ressies game first.

Miller and Young were matched up on Lynch and Jack. So I'm guessing we're still deciding who to play as second key defender.

Soldo went off and inside 3/4ers of the way through. Not sure what's the issue.

Bradtke came over to the rehab group 2/3s the way through. Then rejoined the main group.

Tarrant did most of the session. Only stood out of it for the "Irish" chaos drill.

In rehab:
Colina
Smith
Campbell
Bauer
Gibcus

Of those in rehab, Gibcus and Smith (minus the moonboot) just walked a couple of laps before going back inside. Campbell (he told us he's got a groin injury), Bauer and Colina ran laps, did some straight line runs and some short-range agility drills.

Clue website saying Soldo went off with a foot injury.

Brown was wearing a brace around his right wrist and lower arm. He participated in all the non-contact drills but stood out of the match sim stuff and came over to the rehab group.

Sonsie trained fully with no issue but his right knee was bandaged.

As for the main group, there was though one new drill called "Irish" which focused on handling multiple quick chaotic repeat entries into our defensive 50. Split into small (~7) opposing groups within a marked out circle, a trainer would throw, kick high or grubber the ball into the circle and the defending group had to gain and clear the footy. Once it was cleared, another ball would be similarly sent messily back into the circle (dirty ball!).

They also did a "Smart to fwds" drill. Seemed focused on 45 kicks, switching across the arc and lowering the eyes to find free targets inside F50.

As far as match ups between our forwards and backs in the match sim drills, they had our premiership stars on the lesser likes at each end. So at one end it was Young on Jack, Miller on Lynch and Biggie on Dusty while at the other Balta, Grimes, Floss, Broad, D.Rioli and Baker were matched up on Ryan and some of our VFL-listed players.

So we shouldn't be expecting too many surprises at selection based on these pics and Dimmas presser.
