Full Time:

Tiges put up a spirited round 1 effort. Pressure and intensity were high, but outclassed.

WILL 16.13.(109) to RICH 9.10.64.

Think Georgie is
Problem is that
Rioli and Short would have to drop out  for him
As for McBean , better option than Griffiths who was hopeless before getting injured
Elton is really struggling I must add

Why do you say Rioli or Short would have to come out for Castagna? That is some serious pace between those 3 boys. Let them run riot over on the big ground in Perth.
Play all the bloody kids I say. At least they have a crack.

Watching the Hawks and Doggies game now and it's like watching a different sport than our game yesterday. Both sides run hard and run forward as soon as they have the footy. We make footy look a lot harder than it needs to be.

Agree with all of this.

Think 3 very light body players and throw in the other smalls ?

I wandered down to the game as well....it is in my neighborhood after-all. Some observations:

Bring Moore and Castagna in...thought they were best for us. Put Moore in the guts and slot Georgie in the back pocket.

Hunt is a mediocre VFL player at best...but at least he is better than GRIFFITHS!!!!! Soft, hopeless in the air and on the ground and is a sook.

Batch played angry but not polished.

McBean and Chol have gone past Elton and the sook.

I think Soldo has promise...I would stick with him.

Nick Mellington played injured, showed heaps of courage and imo was amongst our best......might be worth a rookie spot next year.

We should have grabbed no 6 for willy as a rookie and left Marcon there.

Ivan is well Ivan...tried hard all day.

And finally McCrae coaches the 'Richmond way'...need I say more.

Yes it was windy

Interesting your views on a couple of players Jack

I managed to get there for the last part of the first half and then most of the 2nd half

I thought McBean was again poor in the 2nd efforts and attacking the contest stakes.  Actually a coupe of times late in the 3rd he didnt even bother to attempt to get to 3 contests when he was only 10-15 metres away. I would hope he learnt alot today with big Maric out there. It was like he had hos own coach, Ivan spent alot of time giving him instruction

Thought George was ok, his wrokrate is excellent but hos disposal again is a worry...but considering how poor our afl guys he shoudl be a lock

Just on Maric, showed today what a tremendous leader he is... great thong abput VFL footy is you can hear things being said out on the ground.  With Ivan it was like havong a playing coach out there today. He was fantastic. Thigns turned to crap the mpent he got pulled from the ground
