speed is the key to this game.

i would rather see us go small in the forward line.

Yep, Montagna was very, very noticeable by his absence.  Hyde did a real number on him which was critical because Montagna normally does very well against us.  FWIW I think Edwards will be dropped - he looked underdone and off the pace on Saturday and I reckon a couple of weeks of 100% game time and rebuild of some confidence will work wonders.

Hyde should stay in the team
Montagna is a gun and you know what i never saw him once at the Saints game.

We should stand him side by side with Bartel or Ablett if he plays..

I hope Ottens doesn't play i cant stand that soft piece of poo. i think his coming back this week..

I just would like to see Mooney knocked out after what he said about Victoria, which was, I hate Victoria. And the dope is playing in Victoria and is happy to take the money. If he hates it here then go back to the Swans.
I have never liked him as he thinks he's a thug, but he's only a wanna be but will never be, but only will be when it comes to kids that are on him and he can over power them. So lets put Polack on him and I bet he will play a crap game as he will be to scared to push him around.
So if this happens I will be happy win or lose.  :gotigers

im worried about steve johnson more than anyone.
medium size forward and smalls are our biggest issue at the moment.

once they get a sniff they can easily bag 5 b4 u know it.

who is our best match up for him??

I would put young Moore on him. I think he's strong enough to compete with him and good enough to cut him out of the game.

Agree - he cuts us up every time. I don't even want to remember 2007 :'( :'(

The match up - McGuane for mine although if we are looking for someone outside the current side (that is who played against the saints) a Polo or even a Connors - footballers rather than athletes

We won't go back for seconds

RICHMOND'S VFL stars face more time at Coburg, with the Tigers intent on keeping a settled side for Saturday's clash against Geelong. The Tigers have only Andrew Raines missing from their best 22, which is putting enormous selection pressure on the senior side.

Joel Bowden, Graham Polak, Kayne Pettifer, Greg Tivendale and young draftee Trent Cotchin all pushed for selection playing with Coburg on Saturday.

But with the Tigers taking on reigning premier Geelong after a month of solid football, they may have to do more to win back their places.

Cotchin, who was drafted at No. 2 behind Matthew Kreuzer last year, would have been into the side at any other time in Wallace's reign.

But despite exciting Tigers insiders with his progress in four games since recovering from achilles soreness, he may be a fortnight away.

Cotchin is still building fitness after missing the entire pre-season, but has shown enough to warrant the lofty predictions made of him.

New-look forward Bowden is no certainty to return this week, despite a month of solid football in the VFL.

The Tigers are aware they must make a breakthrough in coming weeks after a last-gasp draw with the Bulldogs and honourable losses to St Kilda and Hawthorn.

Mark Coughlan has pulled up well from the Coburg game after finally recovering from hamstring soreness associated with his twin knee reconstructions.

Football director Greg Miller said yesterday the match committee would scrutinise the VFL performances in coming days.

"We had a few guys play well against Collingwood in the VFL. As to where that puts us in relation to selection, I think our side has been pretty settled the last four weeks," he said

"I wouldn't expect too many changes."

Welcome to OER Tiger2020  :).

SEN contacted the club on Sunday and they said the club believes it is only a "small" fracture in the wrist and they're hoping Kingy will be okay to play on Saturday.
