Caro said she is against any club selling games. Hutchy it will possibly cost Richmond 8 points and a finals spot. Caro said make that possibly 12 points - the loss to Port on Saturday night and then missing out on playing Gold Coast twice. Originally we were scheduled to play the Suns at the 'Gabba in round 2 and then in Melbourne later on in the year. That was changed to one game in Cairns when we sold our hold game.

Caro also said both clubs afterwards called the ground and stadium substandard for AFL clubs. Plenty of frantic phone calls to the big wigs who were on the Gold Coast. Time for the AFL to fund an upgrade of TIO stadium.

Hutchy asked Lyon if Port out-smarted us. Garry replied that it looked like Port having played in Darwin before were far better prepared having gone up on there early to train. They showed vision of the Port players wearing gloves and that in those conditions that played as through it was wet weather footy (217 kicks to just 99 handballs) whereas we overpossessed the footy. They showed about 3 instances in the first half where a long kick went over the back and the Port forwards waltzed into goal.

Again just another example of our players getting ahead of themselves, they just didn't prepare as they should of.

Oh dear. On good call bad call they asked if richmond need lake for our defense problem.

Brian Lake will be 30 by the start of the next season. As Caro said why would a young upcoming side like us want a 30 y.o. ageing full-back and one who is unfit and that doesn't want to be playing  ::).

I liked Caro's point about the womens round over mothers day weekend and raising fund for breast cancer. Gary was quick to shut it down as he wouldn't want Melb to maybe lose there pink night.

Thomas said his highlight of the weekend was Damien Hardwick's coaching and Richmond's maturity travelling back by bus from Sydney then going up to Brisbane to win and finish off the game strongly.

Garry Lyon was winding his beloved Demons up using reserve psychology saying no way will Melbourne beat Richmond this week given the Dees' formline after a win this year. When Thomas asked Lyon who would you tip if both Melbourne and Richmond played at their best, Lyon replied straight away Melbourne  ::).

The Richmond good call/bad call question was "Is Martin the Judd of the '09 draft?" because both Dusty and Judd were both taken at pick 3 out of the top 3 going into their respective drafts. Hutchy said bad call as Scully and Trengove are good young footballers as well.

Yeh that got my back up too. Lame stuff Lyon.  The reverse psych rubbish then if both teams play their best footy he emphatically states....MELBOURNE WIN !   We'll see smart ar*e
