Last week he thought he was batting like Viv Richards.

This week he is playing with a straight bat and batting like Chris Tavare.

Too big a name Tucker...
Gary would of been the hairy brute at school that picked on the smaller kids for lunch money to fund his waxing addixction.
As gary just said now, the biggest test is against richmond. That is codeword for: they think they can beat us, they're firing up their boys and they're gonna give it a huge crack

At least Hutchy admitted we have been competitive against quality opposition.

Nice summation by Thommo saying that Vickery hasn't got his mind on the job and needs to start doing that. The FC crew could've gone harder on us but why fire us up ahead of Melbourne' so called Grand Final this week.

GT is no longer batting like Chris Tavare he is now Mile Gatting. :lol :rollin :lol

Hutchy is a funny bloke, I was listening to him and crawf on sat morning. Crawf was giving it to him cos he met his girlfriend at maccas, then crawf called her up on air and put him on the spot. He handled it well, but I can imagine the steam coming out of that tight collar of his.

Hutchy consumes maccas on a daily basis the fat pig..

Imagine the gas.

Melbourne are a protected species atm considering the club is near a basket case.

Must still be considered too close to Jim Stynes death for the media to go to town on them.

Lloyd on replacing Hutchy tonight.

As far as Richmond, they are going to discuss where Jack Riewoldt's footy is at.

They showed Jack's stats for the year focussing on his low contested marks. They showed vision of Jack in 2010 against West Coast taking 4 contested marks in a quarter and compared that to Jack this year having only 4 contested marks in 4 games.

Games                  4
Goals                    6
Marks                 14
Contested marks   4

Lloyd said Jack's not going for his marks and goals like he use to. They first showed Jack handballing off near goal and stuffing it up by handballing it at Vickery's feet. Lloyd added Jack looks lost and is playing from behind and waiting out the back for the cheapy.

Thomas said he doesn't believe Jack has bought into Hardwick's gameplan to have a spread of goalkickers and not have Jack as the main man. Hardwick is right going forward but Jack wants to be the pea in the pod. That's reflective in Jack's attitude. Thomas said he doesn't want to say Jack needs to be more team orientated as he's probably being too team orientated at the moment trying to show it won't work. He's a little betwix and between as far as understanding what his role is in Hardwick's gameplan.

Lloyd also said 3 key forwards down at Geelong is too many. Caro said Miller is Richmond's leading goalkicker with 9 compared to Vickery and Jack on 4. Thomas questioned where Miller was the right option given where Richmond's development is. Lloyd said one of Miller and Vickery had to go and you should give the younger bloke the go.
