We might be in for a wonderful 2 weeks:
1. Essendrugs beat Carltank who then cant make the finals ... we flog the cheats as the Peptides have worn off the week after and Turdy is on holidays around his pool in Toowank
2. Norf make the finals and flog the Scum in the eleimination final ... we of course flog Port
3. Norf  and the mighty Tigers make it to the next week of the finals ... who knows from there?

If Collingwood lose to Norf and we beat the Druggies then we finish 5th and play the Roos.  :whistle

We will find it hard against either the Roos or Carlton but at least we will be playing at the 'G'. Collingwood/Port to Jihad Stadium  :lol

So our route to premiership glory is ...  ;D

EF vs Carlton

SF vs loser of Hawthorn/Sydney

PF vs winner of Geelong/Freo

GF

Shows why it's hard to win a flag from outside the top 4 these days but if it can be done it could be this year. I'm not saying we'll do it but there's no dominant team or two this year. All sides have their weaknesses. Having said that, I've still got a feeling Geelong will click during the finals and will win it. The AFL has helped big time gifting them a home qualifying final at Kardinia Park and a gimme path to a PF.

If Hawthorn will ever beat the Geelong hoodoo it will be in the GF IMHO. I believe they can beat them but only in the Premiership decider. Hawthorn can do that to teams.
Then Geelong can start their slide with Hawthorn down the ladder and we can replace them for the next decade to dozen years getting at least 4-6 flags of our own. ;D

I reckon they'll roll us. Checked the 28 day forecast on Foxtel no rain expected on the 2nd week in finals.
Might have to go to the G and turn the sprinklers on the night before Moorabbin style in the 80's to change the ground conditions to our favour. ;D

See who your club could come up against as the finals evolve

RICHMOND
Elimination final v Carlton, MCG, Sunday 3.20pm

WIN: semi-final against loser of Hawks v Swans qualifying final. Would then play winner of Cats v Dockers qualifying final in the preliminary final.

- After all those years of finishing ninth, Richmond will this week play - and could lose to - the team that should have finished ninth. A last-start loss to Carlton will have Tigers fans a little nervous heading in to Sunday's blockbuster, but, as Damien Hardwick said, this week is a different ball game - and his players were dominant early-on in that game too. The winner will likely head to Sydney for a semi-final with the Swans, although Tiger fans who believe Hawthorn has now become their side's bunny will hope the Hawks lose to the Swans on Friday night.

LAST FIVE v CARLTON
R21 2013, MCG, Carl 16.10 (106) def Rich 14.12 (96)
R1 2013, MCG, Rich 14.22 (106) def Carl 15.17 (101)
R18 2012, MCG, Carl 14.11 (95) def Rich 13.13 (91)
R1 2012, MCG, Carl 18.17 (125) def Rich 12.9 (81)
R15 2011, MCG, Carl 28.16 (184) def Rich 12.9 (81)
