yea we win avoid a priority pick, west coast lose get a priority pick

we win 8 games this year finish 10th

look forward three years west coast are in a grand final on the back of masten natanui scully and we are 9th ....again.

The  more things change at tigerland the more they stay the same.

The rfc has big chance of showing it is a professional football club by picking kids and managing losses, unfortunately we wont take this opportunity and wallow in our mediocrity .................... agian

tanking sux

achieves nothing, geelong never tanked

btw ur lover deledio will guide us to the promise land

McMahon and Pettifer gone.
Cogs isnt up to either

Has Coghlan ever shown any interest in coaching or helping young kids in development. To be honest, it is over for Coghlan, and just a suggestion from left field... maybe retire from now and between now and the end of the year, since he has a contract, he can take a position as a development coach and help the young kids at the club. If he does a good job, maybe he could stay on at the end of it. Lets not only develop players, how about trying to develop afew future coaches to put into our structure. And Coghlan has shown he is a Richmond person.

Damn good suggestion. He is a quality person and to some extent has triumphed over adversity. Would be a great development coach, from an outsider's point of view.

Forget about what pick in draft.
We need to have a winning culture.
We have had picks before and guess what, we are not better off.
Can you tell , the club WONT be tanking ;)

Did they see last nights 2nd half....have they realised that we have been poo for almost 3 decades because we dont have good players and we dont have players who can kick the footy properly.

never mind ramps, according to jack and march and free the list is good enough for finals.

The problem is we have 10 players that would get a game with any other team. We are basically screwed

I wonder why that is?

Clearly we haven't lost enough games!

so are many smart footballers. only time his slow is when they laying down to get rid of the coach
you see his first half he got no cheap possies in that fast half, all them players were blowing 100% effort to prove they can play
after halftime cya coach they dont know basic skills & stop chasing & kick to maned contests

Those at Coburg didn't do us any favours to make wholesale changes  :-\. Bringing in Kingy again isn't going with youth either :P. Gus should come in for the struggling Simmo.

Well based on the efforts of those playing at Coburg today there shouldn't be many changes at all

Struth they were bad

Anyway

OUTS: McMahon, Pettifer, McMahonoops Coughlan, Thursfield (watch the replay anyone want to pick the moment Will lost me :-\) Simmonds stays only because Gus was very ordinary today, ditto Vickery

INS: flip a coin....... Thomson, Edwards, Slivestor ;D (yes I'm on a mission :lol), King or JON
