What we really need is to have our best pre season ever and to burn up the track.

Cant afford to drop games to teams like Melbourne.

We couldn't afford to drop those games in 2014 and 2015. But we did lose. What makes this year any more important?

Don't worry, Matty will still clap them off they do...  :gotigers

Exactly

I won't be clapping anyone off if we lose to the Dees again .
But I will be on OER waiting for Claw ( who is in hiding like Luke Skywalker) to reappear .
Plus I'm sure Stalin will high jack every thread with his anti Grigg/Houli/Chapman/Hardwick/Peggy  vitriol...which is always entertaining.

Stalin sounds like a good judge of character with those players/officials in his sights.

Half of the happy clappers sense another mediocre year will result in us realists being proven right from 2-3 years ago. Hence the apparent softening over the last 2-3 months

And yet you call yourself a Richmond supporter - so by definition you also are a supporter of mediocrity or perhaps a Collingwood troll?

I call myself an aspirational supporter. You lot - recreational supporters. Remember your quote - 'don't get worked up by things you can't Control' or to that effect

What do you define as a mediocre year?
5-8th again and no finals wins?  Or fall out of the 8.

Anything less than a flag would be an unmitigated disaster for  the club and would require us to dig up Graeme Richmond and start again.
Just an aspiration.

Based on the generally common view of our list, we should be deep into finals as a minimum.

So what's your view of the list?
Our aspirations should match our own perceptions - not those of the common view or we might start listening to those in public life  ;D
