thanks i thought as much.
At this point in time no one knows if he will make it. Like most who get to a list he has some good traits.

Me WHEN  i look at the list and our  FWDS it seems    we either have KPP'S or smalls with nothing in between apart from Dusty who is going to spend most of his time in games as a mid.
Jacob would be ideal,  not kpp size but tall enough at 192cm. Imo he  plays a lot more like a marking medium than a tall. He is not slow covers the ground nicely and takes a good grab kicks the ball well as well..Playing someone like him means if we also have two kpf's we are not too tall and cumbersome.

When he gets fit if he shows enough then id really like to see Lynch Koschitzke and Bauer in the front half. Put Bolton, Cumberland and say seth Campbell at their feet. This allows us o play Balta and Gibcus in tandem as key defenders.
When i look at our midfield i  still strongly believe Both Bolton and Martin need to play mostly as mids.

Im over us playing mids as forwards and thats not aimed at Shai or Dusty who could play either role to a very high standard fact is they are needed more in the midfield. No point having them fwd if the ball comes in crap or hardly gets down there.
we have constantly in recent years played Baker Pickett Mansell Graham and i know ive missed a few over natural fwds.
The trouble is it actually shows and is killing us.

Yep if worried about pace and opposition running it out too easy then Jacob as our third marking target is a far better option than playing two ruckmen or a ruck fwd or a third kpp.

Such a shame he has been injured and has not been able to stake a claim.

Still think Dusty and Bolton start mid and say spend 60  or 70 percent time there and rotate fwd changing with the likes of Sonsie or Campbell
both imo can play midfield.
The other one id like to see us start fwd and give a block of games to is Cumberland.
Imo the trouble with picking players like Sonsie Cumberland Campbell Clark well it means reputation have to bent a little. That to me seems to be the biggest reason why these kids are not getting a regular go.

Lets get back to 2017 where we  just played players where they are best suited ie natural fwds fwd Natural backs back and Mids in the midfield.

Well he is not posted on todays injury report update.

He was injured a couple of weeks ago, that's why he didn't play the weekend against Melb

Should be right to go this week for the VFL praccy game I believe

Unfortunately, versatile youngster Jacob Bauer will miss 4-6 weeks with a hamstring strain after suffering the injury at training last week. Bauer had been building match conditioning after an interrupted pre-season before the injury occurred.

He should see that same surgeon we send our players too and see if he can arrange some other infections and setbacks.

I hate Kane Cornflakes, but he is right. Questions now need to be asked.  Too many reoccurring incidents are happen . It's no longer just coincidence or poo happens .
