Lloyd was a flog on the field, now he's a flog off it.

Just saw some footage of Watts on AFL 360.

Very worrying if you're a Melbum supporter. It's only a NAB cup, but he hasn't shown anything to suggest that this was just a practice game effort and he can turn it on in the season proper.

Hurley, always injured. I'm sure he's great. Hartlett, I'm sure he'll be awesome, but yet another interrupted pre-season due to injury and hasn't played a lot of footy. Watts is a spud. Zaharakis.. how nice of Lloyd to chuck two Bummers into his top 10.

NicNat is in a league of his own, but Vickory more than deserves to be in there with Yarran, Shuey and Hannebery after kicking 30 odd goals and being one of the most mobile big men in the comp and at such a young age.

Typically we don't get rated in many of these things... Vicks just needs to consolidate last seasons improvement, who gives a flying stuff what that flog thinks

Jurrah has taken leave as well. I wonder if he'll be back?

As much as I h8 the little toff, I reckon Watts has every chance of being a better player than Vickery in a few years. 50/50 even 60/40.

Hopefully not by Round 3. Always plays his best game against us.

This is his biggest problem. Always loved his ale! That was the word from his junior days...

Personally I think that the talls are of more value than Lloyd is crediting them for.
My top 10 FWIW based on current output and future potential.

1. Natanui
2. Vickery
3. Hurley
4. Shuey
5. Hartlett
6. Hannebery
7. Hill
8. Sidebottom
9. Yarran
10. Davis

Hurley is ahead of Vickery IMO and I would have hill further up the list to.

Vickery at pick 6 was a great get for us and at this stage he's done nothing wrong to say therwise :cheers

I think TV has a bit more value as a forward who can ruck but there's not much in it. I certainly rate Hurley's ability and flexibility that's for sure.

Hill is a bit hit and miss for me. Has X Factor in spades but he was disappointing last year. Relies an awful lot on his pace and is a soft tissue injury away from becoming just a player. Think he gets overrated a little because he's flashy but can equally go missing.

If anything probably overrated Sidebottom because he's been part of a premiership side but seems to have stagnated a little. Might have squeezed him out for Ziebell who's going to be an important player for the Roos if he can get fit.

i think Davis has a heap of upside and was rightly rated by GWS.
