The heats for the event will be held at 12.30pm ahead of the  start of the Hawthorn-Sydney Swans game, with the final of the sprint to be run during the half-time break, at approximately 3.40pm.

There's no bluechip speedsters this year! What a crock! Surely Geelong could've at least put Blicavs on the table for a sprint. Or Port could've sent Jake Neade?
Isn't the Geelong bloke a middle distance runner? If it was a couple of laps of The G I recon he might take it out  :thumbsup

ah the gf sprint. its become a favorite of tiger supporters and i can see why. its about the only thing we have to look fwd to on gf day and if we dont change tack it will be about all we have to look fwd to for the next 10 yrs or more.

Yep, Houli came about 2nd last in his heat. Zac Dawson just turned up for the free Grand Final tickets lol.

Murdoch will be the favourite in the final of the sprint at half-time.

I suggest they keep the sprints but introduce you have to bounce the ball every 15
