Wallace on 3aw @ 6.30pm

* Connors? - He was a late pick. Massive upside talent wise but he had plenty to learn. We were prepared to back our development structure with McRae in charge. Daniel also had a stress related injured earlier in the season which has stopped him playing more games.

* Priority pick? - frustration of the system. Hawks finished on a rally 2 years ago and took that momentum into the next season so that's the way we're looking at it. We can't afford to drop away late in the season so apart from a couple of drop offs we're happy with our second half of the season.

* Hawthorn game? - The whole game was fascinating. We had the most possessions more than our opponents for the season but the 3rd lowest inside 50s. The whole point was to hold on to the footy and go wide as once you get past the zone you've got a good scoring chance. The whole point of the Hawthorn zone of course is to stop you getting through.

* Browny and Foley? -
Foley a better chance. Made ground the last couple of days.
Browny - carrying 2-3 things which may hold him back another week. This year has been his first full season in quite a few years and it's caught up with him towards the end of the season.

* Finals chance? - Reality is we'll know better at the end of ths weekend. If Saints and Pies win then it's over. If they don't then it keeps us alive for another week and hope they might get the gitters.
