I hope our forward line has another gear. If what we've seen in the NAB cup is anything to go by I don't know how we're going to win this one, or games like it  :help :'(

CARLTON's NAB Cup GF side. It shouldn't be too far off their round 1 line-up so that's the side we've got to beat in two weeks time.

B: Chris Yarran, Michael Jamison, Simon White

HB: Nick Duigan, Lachie Henderson, Zach Tuohy

C: Kade Simpson, Brock McLean, Dennis Armfield

HF: Andrew Carrazzo, Andrew Walker, Kane Lucas

F: Sam Rowe, Levi Casboult, Eddie Betts

Foll: Shaun Hampson, Bryce Gibbs, Marc Murphy

Int: Chris Judd, Matthew Kreuzer, Mitch Robinson, Josh Bootsma, Ed Curnow, Aaron Joseph

Emg: Jeremy Laidler, Tom Bell, Heath Scotland

We both have ordinary forward lines. It will come down to Jack's performance IMO.

Judd Kruezer and Robinson are named on their bench and they could all play forward for the blues, particularly Kreuzer and Robinson who seems to pull goals out of his arse when he plays us. If we dont hold down the carlton small forwards and they get away from us they will beat us.

Any reason Garlett not playing? I was just trying to pick the two extra subs that would probably miss out on round 1 (Bootsma and Joseph?), but then noticed Garlett isn't named. I'm not 100% convinced they'll go into round 1 with all of Rowe, Casboult, Hampson, and Kreuzer though, makes their bench too slow and too many part time forwards.. Maybe Rowe out for Garlett. It's a real shame we won't have Grimes. If there is one game we'll need Rance, Grimes, and Chaplin then this is the one.

Still, strong side. I maintain that unless our forward line has another cog then this is going to be same old, same old.  :help

Hi all.

I have two extra tickets for Carltankcheat game in round 1.

I got undercover seats in the Olympic today but just in case I didn't get tix a friend of mine got me a pair of tix in the AFL members in M22 for the match. Bottom level of Southern on the wing.

Since they are in excess as I have my tix I'm happy to give them to a fellow tiger fan for the big game for nix. Let's paint the G in yellow and black and get the points first up.

PM me if anyone interested. First in best dressed. :gotigers

Round 1 odds:

Centrebet:
Richmond   $2.15
Carlton      $1.70

TAB Sportsbet:
Richmond   $2.25
Carlton      $1.65

So the bookies are still backing the bluebaggers.
