Conca reads well just havent seen enough of him, anyone have any links to some videos?

Sean Atley for me.

Worst case scenario is

4. Gaff
5. Polec

as I havent heard any links with Atley unfortunatly. I think Conca and even Bennell just seem slightly risky. Atley is a sure bet to be a 200 gamer. Why take the risk?

Sean Atley for mine.

Scans spark draft doubt for Dyson Heppell (Herald-Sun)

Scans spark draft doubt for Dyson Heppell
Jay Clark
Herald Sun
November 17, 2010 8:47PM

DYSON Heppell has quashed raging speculation he has groin problems, which sent the likely draft order into a tailspin.

Heppell, who was initially thought to go as high as pick five to Brisbane, could slip as far as No. 12 to Melbourne in what could be a coup for the Dees.

Recruiters were hastily making calls to Heppell and his family on the Gold Coast amid widespread rumours his recent groin scans were worrisome.

But the silken half-back told the Herald Sun he had not experienced any pain or problems with his groin since his osteitis pubis in 2008.

"I have had no niggles whatsoever and I keep getting calls asking about it but I have no idea what it is about," Heppell said.

"I had scans four weeks ago on my groin just as a precaution because I had it (osteitis pubis) a couple of years ago, but they're completely fine."

As revealed in the Herald Sun, Richmond is expected to pull a surprise and nab West Australian outside link man Reece Conca at tonight's AFL National Draft on the Gold Coast.

But mystery surrounds Essendon's choice at No. 8. It is understood the club is torn between Vic Country midfielders Dion Prestia and Shaun Atley.

It is believed new coach James Hird wants the speedy Atley, despite criticism of his kicking.

One club's scout described Prestia as the best natural footballer in the draft, but his height, at 175cm, had turned some clubs off.

Melbourne is tipped to happily benefit from Heppell's sudden slide as the Gippsland star was arguably the best-performed player through the second half of the TAC Cup season.

"I like to model myself on a Josh Drummond type, with his ball use with his long left-foot kicking," Heppell said.

Carlton has been linked to bulky left-foot backman Matthew Watson but was last night still tossing up the merits of bustling 190cm goalkicker Jack Darling, and could swing either way.

They are either uber-prepared with a couple of web pages ready to go and someone doesn't know how to drive the website, or they have already been in discussions with Brisbane.  Either way -  :lol :rollin :lol

Any of the bookmakers run a book on the draft ??  ;D

That is weird.

How the hell did you find that wayne? there is nothing on the main page to link to it. It seems like a page pre-pepared but not yet public?

KB on SEN said that there was already a page up.

You just go to the latest news page on the site, then change the number at the top, increase it by one or two.

There doesn't seem to be any other pages up yet ie. Polec, Heppell or Caddy

Yeah, I tried that to see there were any other pages waiting to become official.

It just all adds to the intrigue.  Was it one of a number of pages pre written that accidentally became live or is it the page, already written waiting to be published. AS this would be done on some sort of Content management system it would be very easy for the person to hit the publish  button rather than the save button. They would likely not be aware as you expect than no one would find it as there was no link on the menus added to the home page, yet someone found it. Would love to know how this page was found at all in the first place.

Apparently RFC_Official spent yesterday making about 20 such pages;

Yep, I spent all my day yesterday afternoon uploading about 20 player profiles of players we might draft. We had a variety of players up with pics, info, etc.

We're at the draft today, so we wanted to give you guys the most comprehensive coverage possible by uploading a few profiles in advance.

Sound like RFC_Official needs a refresher on how to run his CMS.   :wallywink
