Today's wouldn't be far off our best 22. Really only Foley and McGuane missing due to injury. Most of those at Coburg are either still young and still learning or list cloggers who will be cut at the end of the year. We've now had a fairly settled line-up over the past 6 weeks whereas earlier in the season we were chopping and changing 5 names each and every week.

Agree with MT and it goes to show we've had a great year with injuries.

How about we wait for them to earn a spot first

Relton has been very good in patches for coburg.

Long term best 22. If foley was fit and some young players kick on.

Mitch Farmer has realy impressed me over the past month and is definately part of our best 22 ATM.

He has a beautiful long kick....and is becomming a goal kicking defender with a 3 goals in his past 3 games.

There was a passage of play (involving mitch) that had Dennis Cometti doing cartwheels last Sunday.

After the first couple of months I was like "meh" when it came to Mitch but the boy is now showing some real spunk.

True.
Great win yesterday but let's keep a lid on it.
We are still a lowly side and our best 22 is a long way from the best 22 in the comp.
Long way to go. Lots to do yet.

it is very good that players are fighting for positions!

I think it's exciting, the current 22 features a heap of young kids who are playing well.

This upcoming draft we'll load up with more kids and they'll have to fight for spots and there shouldn't be too much deadwood running around for Coburg.
And you may not think I care for you

Speaking of best 22's, we have 4 players in the best 22 for Round 14.
Newy, Kel, Lids and Jack all get a jumper. :cheers

Not a bad effort from a team which was on the bottom prior to the game. :thumbsup
