So will Jack still front up for his weekly spot on 360 tomorrow night?

yep

Appears the "ban" is over

Ellis B was on yesterday's Ch9 Sunday Footy Show

And Ty spoke to the media on his way into Punt Road, though I am sure the club will accuse the media of "ambushing" him in the car park

given the media's treatment of Cotchin, giving them a spell for a week makes sense & i don't blame them
Yeah, agree with this.  We aren't keeping the players away from the media, we are keeping the media away from the players!  Its about time we did this.  We don't owe the media another week of free whacks ...    :P

So the media aren't allowed to be critical of players? Or is it just our players they aren't allowed to be critical of and other club's players can cop whatever whacks the media dish out.

As for the "free whacks" would think we deserved them based on losing that game and then what we dished up on Saturday
Sorry WP, my bad.  I had totally forgotten about the compulsory pessimism thing in here (a fan site?) when it comes to defending the club or our players ... it wont happen again   :P

lmao

It's a dummy-spit reaction from Dimma re: the 'bullying' of Cotchin to spite the media

Soory to disappoint & I know everything is Hardwick's fault but in this case it wasn't his decision

Powers higher up than the  coach

Oh, u mean the stupid cow ?

If you mean the president

No

Bit harsh on Ol Peggy Sue I was. ;D

Can you be arrested for that in today's society?

People can be positive, can defend our players anytime they want all I did was ask a question  :-\

I read your post and got the impression from that that media shouldn't be whacking our players.

They can whack who they like.

My issue with what the club did with this media ban was they cheated us the members & supporters.

Just think we deserved better than them hiding away and not facing the music, just came across as being a bit gutless

Well we just gave a two-year extension to a dud coach because we were scared of what they might say.....

I didn't see the point in the club offering any fodder to the ravenous hordes. Wise decision IMHO. Player could have said the sweetest most honest thoughtful commentary and the wolves would have pounced. Better to shut up.

Yes, thats right.

Mollycoddle them some more and help them avoid accountability but most importantly make sure
they don't say anything that may be detrimental to the club.
