Last thing he needs is to be injured. Needs game time to see whether can make it at this level

Dave needs alot of improvement. He makes Rance look like Royce Hart.

Astbury will face a fitness test this week, after scans revealed a minor hamstring strain.

Minor, major if he has a strain then he doesn't play, far too risky - end of story

Time for the Griff to come back for the next block of 4-6 games before he gets injured again.

Still struggles with nerves. Whenever he has the ball and needs to kick it he will always choose the long option rather than pinpoint a pass - this clearly shows me he is fearful of making a mistake which of course means he makes plenty of them. I think he has the natural ability to make it but he is too intelligent for his own good - in other words he over thinks things. he needs to employ the KISS theory (Keep It Simple Stupid) and he will be fine.

Unfortunately for Dave now though, Batch will return and take his spot and then Grimes will return and he will be pushed further back down the priority list. Terrible time for him to injury himself. Hope he doesn't make the mistake of pretending his injury is fine so he can play only to play terribly and lose his spot for the year and possibly beyond.

Don't know what the stuff you're on about to be honest. Why would you want one of your bigs (who is no better than a reasonable kick) to try and pin point a pass through traffic instead of going for the safe option has me stuffed. If he tries to be too cute then you'd be on here bagging him. As a KPD his job is to stop his opponent. It doesn't matter how he uses it as long as he's not kicking it down the throat of the opposition.

Gee you blokes get carried away.
