Dave’s delight

February 17, 2015

“It’s been a long time since Round 9, 2014, when I dislocated my kneecap, but I think I’m on track to make a senior return early in the year.

“Physically I feel really good.  I’ve got full confidence in my knee, I’ve been training with some of the best defenders in the competition, and playing on some of the best forwards in Jack (Riewoldt).

Should be prepped for round one. If Rance is off then play him in the seconds and play Astbury in Rances role.

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Good idea, if were tanking may as well play Hampson as ruck rover as well

No way.  Hampson should play pretty as a mid.

Wha?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

take your pick henderson jones but most likely casboult. rance will get henderson and chappy the easy task in jones.

me id play henderson at chb and go with jones casboult and jaksch fwd. out side of riewoldt their tall fwds are no worse than ours.

I'm not a massive fan of Dave's but while Griff is out of the side, I'd play Astbury at CHF as he does hit up pretty well. I definitely think it's his best chance of getting a senior game.
