Hypocritical Bairstow and the poms are still sooking about this :rollin.

--------------------------

The Telegraph has released some quotes from Jonny Bairstow on *that* controversial stumping at Lord’s this summer.

Says Jonny who has indeed done it at County level
"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

Can’t be compared

Why?

I will kick off with this. Broad and Bairstow and that flog Piers Morgan embarrassed themselves countless times through the Ashes. From sooking about the weather, to whether catches were out or not, and obviously this stumping. Piers forgets he celebrates the weather in prior series in England when the rain saved England. Broad conveniently forgets smashing it to slip and not walking in that same series in 2013.

Broad refusing to walk - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSCg_aCD2KA
Piers embarrassing himself - https://cricblog.net/cricket-news-piers-morgan-tweets-emerge-on-rain-saving-england-in-2013-ashes/

And then there is Bairstow. Probably the biggest flog of them all.

Bairstow as keeper in county - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDQrKvYk_YE
Bairstow stumped - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EulOKkMHkJ4

The big difference is obvious. He had marked his ground prior to leaving his crease. The other was more a continuation of the play.
There is no doubt Carey's was a far worse act. Both were out, both weren't in the spirit, both were poo.

However it's plainly obvious which was worse. Funny it happened to them, funny it was Bairstow.

Eff the Poms.

That century by Maxwell was insane  :o. A World Cup record off just 40 balls. He only came into bat in the 39th over as well.

Aussies 8/399 by the way. Warner also got another century.

Was amazing to watch. I looked up what the fastest ODI century ever recorded was and it comes in 4th. What’s even crazier is that AB De Villiers scored 149 off 44 balls which included 16x6s and 9x4s. I must have been living under a rock at the time to somehow miss that.

2015 vs the Windies. I didn't see it at the time either but here it is on youtube. A full on six fest. He got to 100 off 31 balls as a comparison to Maxwell.

Pitch a road, postage stamp ground - about 50 runs short and  if the sheep shaggers get up you can blame Marsh's disgrace of an innings... :thumbsdown
