Anyone interested in Plough's take on McMahon's game on Sunday

Surprise Packet

Jordan McMahon’s second half was the best he has performed so far with the Club. He had 19 kicks for the match – clearly the most in our team – and was one player who, at least, hit targets and transferred the play with quick, attacking moves each time he got hold of the ball. His ability to read the play, and run and carry, will be an advantage for us charging off half-back as the season progresses.

Saw that too TFL. Seems hollow praising second half efforts when we're 9 goals down during the first and game is gone.

McMahon was very good. Good run and carry followed with clean skills. Unfortunately looks like a frontrunner. Against Carlton was very impressive but was very poor against North and the Pies.

Morton had some classy cameos. That goal in the pocket was special. He has very good kicking skills and finishing skills which is something our side desperately needs. Needs to push himself harder and become a player like Ryan O'Keefe

Really liked Morton alot. Might be better option than Petts .
As for McMahon, jury is out. Is unaccountable and most his possesions were uncontested. Will struggle against better opposition

Agree to an extent. For me McMahon is a frontrunner, when the team is up and running and the gameplan is working he will be a very classy contributor. But take the North and Pies games for examples, we as a team were shocking and his game fell apart.

jordan was a key for us today, and he worked damn hard for his possies and put his body in also. he was teh general down back and his run carry and disposal was a grade . i dont think he is a frontrunner, that just bs that walls said. he was beaten v th epies last week but he never gave up and was one of our only players have a dip!

jordan was damn good and will be for us, our next leon cameron

mitch, if he had of kicked stright would have been our best fwd, but he will get netter as he is class!

and btw, tambling deserves a big mutha tap on the back after todays effort

all the idiots who say he is soft outside player, watch him play, he has balls and wins many hard ball contests

I thought both were very good.

Thought McMahon's disposal was very good. Yes he plays off his man too much at times but what was peasing today was that he did chase down a few opponents

Morton - has footy smarts and in our forward line we need more footy smarts. He knew when to and where to lead

Morton looked very good. Knows where the goals are.

Second week in a row that McMahon's disposal was top class - what he was recruited for.
