Saw a few games both live and on TV.  Can't see the attraction really?  Nothing against him but we have quite a few of his type on the list already

Meh...very good VFL player but that's his level...Mannagh a better prospect IMO....other state leaguers I hope we're looking at are Gibbons, Bewely, Rippon, Lok, Hind, Palmer, Jonty Scharenberg., Shane Nelson and the best ruck we can find...  :shh

Not sold on Shane Nelson (assume the West Perth version). Have seen him live a fair bit. He gets a lot of the footy but at WAFL level you really need to tear teams up when you do that, and he doesn't. He is good, but I am not sure he can step up to the next level, which given my track record of evaluating WAFL propsects suggests he wil become an gun at AFL level.

BTW, if anyone is interested in monitoring a bolter for the draft, keep your eye out for Riley Morgan from Claremont.

Good player IMO.

Really surprised he didn’t get more opportunity at Adelaide when he was there.

100% worth another chance.

Callum Twomey has Ian Hill at 17.

That would be a steal. In any other drafy he'd be top 10 easily.

My ideal:

Pick 17 - best available - Ian Hill (gives us skill, pace and beautiful delivery into the forward 50 and tackles!)

Pick 35 - best big mid available - Ely Smith (hope he slides to this pick)

Pick ? (trade pick from Stengle or Lloyd) - Riley Grundy

Pick 71 - Best ruck available at this pick
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Not sure how we see ourselves off for tall forward players but if we are looking for one Oliver Eastland might be a go.

At 196cm might be an inbetweener, but plays ruck for Claremont (and holds his own against much more mature players), and moves really well. Looks a promising type forward as well.
