As of 27/01/2010

20,275*

* match-access and non match-access members

And last year:

As of January 28, 2009

Ticketed:        20,129
Non-ticketed:   5,556
Combined:     25,685
All the membership gains we made with the hype of last preseason have been wiped away by what happened in 2009 season proper  :-\. We've basically fallen back to 2008 membership levels.

It's going to be difficult against Hawthorn down in Tassie but hopefully a good effort first up in the NAB Cup may give our supporters some hope.

At least that's a positive. For too many years we have under sold ourselves by only posting up ticketed members while most other clubs include non-ticketed, or at least quasi-members such as the Hawks Tassie memberships, as part of their overall total. Always made our membership numbers appear smaller in comparison that what they truly were.

In saying this, our numbers are very low this year but it is what you would expect considering the amount of kids and minimal chance of challenging for anything other than the spoon this year.  :shh

I am doing my part - I signed up myself, my son and even helped convinced my Collingwood supporting brother-law and Dad, who barracks for no team, to join this year.  :gotigers

I think we should now have cause for concern. This number is pretty low for the end of Jan, start of Feb. We need to get a move on, I need to as well, I havent renewed either lol ... I will do it later today or tomorrow. :gotigers

Not really.  We aren't labouring behind the pack.  Plenty of time to end up with a healthy total given our circumstances.

I did.....again.  The way I look at it - even if I ante up for 10 years before we make it then $6.25 per month interest free over 10 years is sooooooo worth being guaranteed a seat.

To be fair the AFL hadn't finalised our draw til the last minute and ended up changing our home game against the Saints.

pre season cup starts in 2 weeks, it's late and a little slip shod.
It's that simple Spud

The draw IMV really is a none issue because at the end of the day we get 11 home games.

So it really deons't matter what the break up is - 11 home games is 11 homes game... so the price of a standard membership ticket (no reserve seat) will cost the same.

With the reserve seat thing the only thing that influences that is the break up of home games. We don't know how much it costs the club so they should have just bitten the bullet, made an assumption and got the membership renewals out earlier and then we would have gotten our membership stuff earlier

The late finalisation of the draw seems like a very convenient excuse to me
