Good get Stripes! Id just like to get my memberships, this delay is BS, Im sick of making excuses for our rabble of admin, skunks had theirs before christmas, why is this so hard for our club to do?
To be fair the AFL hadn't finalised our draw til the last minute and ended up changing our home game against the Saints.

pre season cup starts in 2 weeks, it's late and a little slip shod.
I seriously cant see the problem with getting member packs in Jan or even Feb, as long as they arrive before Rd 1 whats the issue ?
You cant use them for the NOB cup ,so unless Im missing something ,no issue

I second that too.
I for one really don't care when I get my membership as I know I have signed up and that enough for me.

I reckon if you have kids (and I don't) then the fact they are late is an issue. The kids want their stuff to show to their mates.

The other thing is and this is just my opinion it just seems the whole membership thing appears to be disorganised this year.

I mean look at the brochure they usually have a picture of the members cap, lanyard, scarf or stickers. This year there is nothing and has made me wonder if the club was late ordering all that stuff and therefore it's been late arriving, hence the reason why nothing has been delivered yet.

They said stuff would start hitting letterboxes this week. Haven't seen one person post and say they've got theirs yet... it just isn't a good look for the club.

We have our family day in a few weeks; it is there you want people in their caps so the kids can get 'em signed etc

Considering Carlton made the finals and Geelong won the flag to be in front of those clubs at this stage is still a good effort with all our crap in 2009.

Seems the Filth are peeved over Fevola.  :lol

Bit disappointing I renewed in November and to not receive my pack till February is very disappointing. Should have nothing to do with the late scheduling of the fixture. Poor form.

Not that I really give to much of a hoot ! But it is pretty funny them sending out the memberships and give you 2 weeks to pay or you lose your seat and then you wait 2 months before they send them out.

Improvement in any business has to be seen accross the board and I don't see it yet.

The last two post make real good points.
And I have to say that I never looked at it these ways.

When I renewed my membership in late November the girl behind the desk said the packs would sent out early January yet almost a month later we still haven't received them :-\. In the long run it won't matter as long as we get them before round 1 but I agree with WP. It seems the membership dept this year has been totally disorganised.

I received the same message MT about early Jan. I wouldn't be worried but I dislike it when someone assures me of one action and then disappoints me by not following through. Bad business and reflects badly on the club. WP is correct also about the kids - I told my young fellow he would be receiving his first membership this year in January and He has been checking the letter box everyday disappointed ever since.

I can totally understand the the little one would be dissappointed in not recieving their membership.
It's sort of okay to play us along but not the kids. These are the future of the club that they are fooling around with.
