Inside Football's Brett Anderson on SEN tonight reckons Richmond doesn't want to trade pick 6 for Prestia but may have to.

We don't have to do anything. If we don't think he's worth pick 6 then don't stuffing do it.

I wonder what other possible trades are available for pick 6?
I would rather offer pick 6 to Sydney for Naismith and keep Miles.
Prestia is injury prone IMO, Miles is a proven quantity and with some decent development could be improved.

We shouldn't be getting our panties in a twist just because Prestia (or any player for that matter) wants to come to RFC

I'd offer pick 6 for Patton or Lobb. Patton needed a season of consolidation after his injuries and damn he looked in the back half of the season, type of power fwd you build a fwd line around. He'd straighten us up and would take the heat off Jack. Add Deledio as our 3rd medium tall to round it off

Well said mate.

Trade out Lids for Cockatoo and use his wage to pay Mitchell.
So we gain two YOUNG GUN mids for the next 10 years, pay for them with Lids wage plus a bit more Cockatoo as he wouldn't be on big money yet, and lose pick 6 and a 30 year old HFF.
Player swap and maybe Vickery's compo for Prestia only if that can be done otherwise to bad.

Then I might think this club is heading in the right dirsection.

And no more signing of "depth" players like Batchelor and A. Moore.

So what's unrealistic?
Lids for Cockatoo?
A team in a premiership window trading out a kid that has done not much for a 2 time AA that if he can get his body right, could play for another 3,4,5 years and maybe be the difference between winning and losing a premiership.
Or
Pick 25 and Griffiths/BEllis/Conca/Lennon/Edwards for a player that has play 20 odd games in 2 years that has said he is leaving.

You may rate Prestia higher than me but that is what I think he is worth.

Lids for Cocka. I'll eat my hat but I cannot see Geelong doing that and if they do they're more delusional than us.

Prestia I'm reserving judgement, can't say I've watched him much but I want to keep pick 6 and his injury history makes me have reservations.

Rubbish yr

Lids would be significantly more valuable to the cats than cocka

More so given the age of danger/Hawkins/selewood
Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus

Shannon Grant for Wayne Shwass worked a while ago, IIRC they were roughly the same age when that trade happened.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
