it shouldnt be like that but i feel this year it was and with the tigers we always drop our heads when we dont have to. we lack a mental toughness that other clubs have.

i believe if we had beaten the blues in round 1 then we may have been more respectful than what we dished up early this year which was nothing short of pathetic.

It all depends on the loss.
If its like this year where we were 27 up in the third in control and then Terry shuts up shop to hang on to what he has and we lose  gone.
If he plays defensive football that exposes our lack of skill but won't get us thrashed due to the players efforts gone. Because that will show the players that Terry has no confidence in them and he is bereft of ideas or untrustworthy of the players and that will cause real issues between players and coach and we will then be talking about the same old same old problems.
Only way we benefit is this way even if we lose go out and play open footy as we did in the last month and play a style of footy that when the kids have more experience will be able to manipulate successfully week in and week out and lose that way or play that way and we win. That way Terry has the players attention Terry trusts them enough to execute a game plan that will "really" help them win and the preparation is there much in the same way the players were up for Hird's last game in Vic.
Plough is coaching for his future and you'll find there will be no middle ground or grey areas only black or white, Either have 12 -14 and make the 8. Or finish up with 3-5 wins and finish up in the bottom 2. Simple
