This must finally shred the lingering delusion (for some) that we have a promising list.  Markov, Rioli and daylight to the rest. I didn't count Menadue because he will ask to be traded to the dogs at the end of this contract.......mark my words. They were very close to selecting him at the pick prior to ours.

This the same Menadue who signed a 2 year contract extension on the 5th July 2016, a little over 2 months ago

yeah right

The majority of kids on ourl ist played less than 10 games.

The most was Rioli with 18 who at least got a rising star.

The lowest amount of games from the actual team was 17 and all but one (petracca) have already had a couple of years experience.

Look at hte average games played from the players in the under 22 team, compared to our under 22s this year.... and that is why we didn't get anyone in the team.

Understand that - but when you ask yourself, why are we in the position where most of our under 22's dont have the experience you start to question the list management strategy we've had in place over the past few years. Watsed way too many spots on the list (and rookie list) on mature types

How were hardwick and the brains trust to know we were locked and loaded with blanks and the cream on top hadn't been stored in the fridge and was off.
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

Because they don't move the ball like professionals they are all over looked & judged how stupid they look when they freeze up when touched. Several senior players do the same so no wonder no-one is looked at.  :snidegrin

They all turn 23 post this season.

To be eligible for selection, players must be aged 22 or under for the entire AFL season (including finals).

+1 to that but we played finals 3 times in a row. Haven't done that for 35 years.
