Who is our most important player?
« on: March 20, 2012, 12:12:46 PM »
KB and Walls were on SEN just before discussing each club's most important player. They didn't necessarily mean the best but someone each club either could not afford to lose or was needed to go that extra/next step.

KB said Deledio in the midfield is and will be our most important player this year and he showed that against GWS on the weekend.

After seeing Ivan in the NAB cup, if we lose him we're in trouble.

And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do

I agree with wayne - Ivan will give Lids every chance of getting first use of the ball but without a good ruckman all of our midfielders look second best.

If Vickery can take his game to another level as a forward/ruck supporting Maric it will add another dimension to our midfield
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Cotchin with Lids not that far behind

McGuane  ;D >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>  :pray

Vickery is the most important IMV, Has to backup his great work from last year. It will take preasure off our forwards & will add worry for the opposition. As l stated some years back, Vickery should have been thrusted up forward to create problems while we were developing & most importantly, him being developed which Hardwick done. Now he is feared & very important to keeping the preasure & the ball in our forward half while it will take another 2 seasons to build the backline & take us to Premiership glory  ;D  :thumbsup

It's extremely important for our finals aspirations that McGuane plays for Coburg. So you're on the money. :lol
