Sorry I meant to say we drafted Lloyd and Rookied Miles
I wonder why we do that
Probably because we rated Lloyd more but what has that got to do with it? It doesn't mean we didn't rate Miles.
I'd be happy if you said, I don't think he is this or that but what you are saying is just because the Tigers didn't draft him and only rookied him, he is no good. Or even worse, he is a lightly framed player.
Anyway each to their own.  :thumbsup

Miles too small is my opinion

We did pick the kid, big tone, in the rookie draft when every other club had multiple chances to so before we did. We have promoted a tall to cover an injury to another tall. If Foley or someone similar went down, then maybe miles would have been promoted.
My point is Go Richo 12, that clubs don't always get it right. Every year players from state leagues come in after being missed in ALL drafts.

No bench
Few rotations
Slower game
Less emphasise on athletic abilities

I agree with you too on that one, it's just that some posters have made the decision not to promote him to be a massive mistake and an illustration of our poor list management.I am not convinced it is especially when 17 other clubs have deemed him to be not worthy of a place on their list.
I hope they are wrong, and in time it may be proven they were.

His career is over before it started now that he's learning to be mediocre and less passionate about his footy.
He'd be better off at another club if he wants to have a successful career in footy.
The club that keeps giving.

I can't understand how Thomas got promoted instead of Miles.Dont come and tell me Miles is not better then Thomas. There is no room in our first 22 for both Thomas and Jackson we go in so unbalanced it's Jackson for me that's it.How can the match committee not see this !.

Guys you play players on form even if the bloke coming out of the side is more skillfull or else your sending the wrong message.

My mail out of Albury is that there were probably 10 better players playing up there that should of got drafted before

All that says to me is that there must be at least 11 players in Albury better than Matt Thomas.

From what I have seen of both players, I would prefer Miles on our list than McDonough.
Forget about who missed drafting who or what someone's under 10's coach said.....
Who would you prefer?
Who has the biggest possible upside?
What sort of player do we need now and long term?

I ask this question, we promote Lloyd and not Miles
Why ?

Sorry I meant to say we drafted Lloyd and Rookied Miles
I wonder why we do that
Probably because we rated Lloyd more but what has that got to do with it? It doesn't mean we didn't rate Miles.
I'd be happy if you said, I don't think he is this or that but what you are saying is just because the Tigers didn't draft him and only rookied him, he is no good. Or even worse, he is a lightly framed player.
Anyway each to their own.  :thumbsup

Miles too small is my opinion

He's 179cms and 78kg hardly small and plenty in senior sides at afl clubs of a similar size and shape.

At 179cm he is taller than Jake King and Nathan Foley. And just a couple of centimetres shorter than Newman, McDonough, Lloyd, Arnott, Ellis. Throw in the fact he is only a couple Kgs lighter than Newman, King, Banfield, Conca don't think the argument that he is too small cuts it.

Have to say I'd have Miles on our list ahead a couple of others and I am not talking about the usual suspects either  ;D

There is a reason that Miles is a rookie you know
Is it the same reason Stephen Milne was a rookie or is it the same reason Dean Cox was a rookie or is it the same reason Matthew Boyd was a rookie?
Jack, the kid was on a list of basically all top 10 draft picks, and they have to delist people every year as the rules state. The point is they have to let some go.
Now us not putting him on our list is another RFC f#%k up IMO. Just because we didn't doesn't make it right, our ability to pick kids is putrid.
And you wanting Grigg in the side instead of a kid that has done everything possible this year is staggering! Or are you just taking your mail as gospel?
