People also speculated that on BF and poster Kiwi Tiger who's heavily involved with the club (IRL not just internet bullshyte) also said we won't be fielding a stand alone men's side....

But again the soft cap cuts are going to impact everything perhaps this is another example
Running any VFL program costs significant $$$. In days gone by it was always upwards of $500k a year.
And just on the AFLW; the AFL have made it clear there are to be no cuts to the AFLW comp in 2021 and at the time I took that to mean Clubs had to allocate the same minimum $$ in 2021 that they were required to do in 2020. E.g. no change to salary cap.
I am not going to get in to a debate about whether that is right or wrong.
HQ makes the rules and all Clubs have to follow them whether we agree with them or not
