Heard Monique Conti interviewed on SEN.

Spoke really well, what a gun player, sportsperson and fantastic ambassador not only for Richmond but sport in general.

Her list of achievements is outstanding and only 21.

We can trade Fredrick to the blues for a straight swap for the big kicking Harris.

No chance

You want to pay her $150k at the expense of losing who? Conti, Brennan, McKenzie, Corner?

She's not worth that. She didn't even finish in their top 15 of their B&F

Apparently all her team mates were fed up to the eyeballs with her. Left training to do 'instagram duties' for AFLW promoting etc.

Maybe that statue has gotten to her head.

I didn’t know she was asking for that much sounds like a lot of money for AFLW.

If that’s true then I’d pass as I wouldn’t want to lose any of those girls you mentioned.

It's being reported we will be swapping Sabrina Frederick for Collingwood's Maddie Shevlin.

-------------------------------------

Richmond key forward Sabrina Frederick is expected to become a Magpie as early as Monday.

Frederick will be playing for her third club, having previously played for Brisbane, while versatile Pie Maddie Shevlin – who can play on either flank or the wing – will go to Richmond in return, having started her career at Melbourne.

What is it with Frederick and Harris? Hit the ground running as great forwards in the debut year and not only did they not improve they kinda went backwards? Like Harris can’t kick goals 5m out and Frederick gets pushed under the ball from women half her size

Comp has improved uewr on year.

1st & 2nd year certain players stood out because of certain skills they possessed. In the case of Fredericks and Harris it was contested marking. As the comp has improved players have needed to expend their skill set to be able to have more than one string to their bow. These 2 haven't and as a result they've stagnated while the comp has gone past them

Fredericks should be used more in the ruck but isn't because Seymour excelled there this season.

Harris, well being one of faces of the comp there was more focus on her performances this year. Hafe to say the consistency over this season was on par with her previous ones = inconsistency. Just think it was noticed more

AFLW is evolving very quickly. The first couple of years was slower and more old school contested marking footy as WP mentioned. So the likes of Frederick and Sarah Perkins were suited to it and starred. However, the game and ball movement now is much quicker so they are being caught out as soon as the ball hits the ground. It's like the argument in the men's game. Would a Lockett be the goal kicking machine in the modern game or would he be a liability? The lumbering big body types have become extinct in the men's game and seems the women's game is going the same way. If you're tall you need to be agile and decent enough at ground level. So it's no surprise we played Seymour as first ruck this year rather than Frederick.

ps. This trade will also free up some salary cap presumably to target another quality player.
