Yeah got it now albert. Makes sense

WP I still find it hard to believe that Blair is searching for used talent as well as searching the kids. What is FJ doing then? Waiting for Conca to become the player he wants him to be

The problem is under dimwit nothing will happen. No matter how much money is poured into the coffers they won't spend it on recruiting or development. IMO it's very difficult to win a flag unless you open your purse and invest in off field

Angus I never said he was out looking for talent and FJ wasn't, all I said is he is FJ's boss and that he has a lot more to do with recruiting than thought. Hartley is in charge in list management and as such has a major call on who we draft. Massive difference

I can put up with people slagging off our players or our coach but nothing annoys me more than someone comparing draft picks especially 18 months into someones career.

Same idiots who complained about Rance when he was young, plenty of sooks over Shed for a long time before he has come good, same idiots who complained about missing out on players when we drafted Dusty.

Just let them develop for christs sake.

I totally agree with your post except Edwards took 6 yrs to become afl level so his criticism was warranted

Hard to know if these players are any good if dimwit doesn't never plays  them

Nothing wrong with criticising players, its the comparison to others that does my head in. Cripps is given a full time role in the midfield at Carlton. Who is to say he would be in our midfield at all? Doubt it. He'd be playing off the half back flank or forward flank. Or possibly in the 2's mastering his art. Exactly the same as Ben Lennon.

With big Ben going down with the shoulder, big opportunity for little Ben to play well tomorrow and play as that HHF. Bring it!

I thinks he's talented enough but sugar coat it all you want IMO he's either lazy or unfit if he's not dominating the twos or not hungry enough.

If he's playing forward in the twos

And the twos are getting pumped every week

What's he sposed to do?

Richmond’s VFL coach Tim Clarke's summary of the Tigers’ AFL-listed players ...
Ben Lennon
18 disposals, three tackles

Played wing most of the day. Still learning the role, which is going to add another string to his bow. Every time Ben gets the ball, something happens with our side. He didn’t hit the scoreboard, but he did contribute to two or three goals. Hopefully Ben can keep improving the wing role over the next two or three weeks.

Looks like he's playing on the wing so.........
