I'm expecting big things from Lennon in 2016.

After the retirement of Newman he has a spot that's all his if he's willing to take the opportunity and cement himself in the senior team.

he looks as though he's got talent but I hope the leadership group haven't pansied him up otherwise the club can send him to the scum with a pink ribbon tied in a bow.
The club that keeps giving.

Do think he will be at RFC in 2016
can you elaborate? Gut feel or inside info?

Common knowledge he is in dispute
Doesn't want to leave but they are a fair distance apart
Tiges have to control salary cap to try and land bigger fish
No over pay young players who have been at club for 2 years who want big bucks

Agree with Jack here. Kid doesn't want to leave which is the thing on our side at the moment

this is one of the problems with wanting to go hard during trade and offering others big $$$$

Sometimes it means you may lose one of you own kids that you've spent a fair amount of time in developing in the process

As Ma Powell always said, can't have it both ways  ;D

Going hard at others? Give me a break. We have a war chest apparently and they aren't securing any top end talent which begs the question wtf are they waiting for

This kid can bloody pay yet our stupid coach wants to focus on Yarran. Please

We have had 4 retire so money is there. No excuses if this kid leaves

The 4 that retired were not on big bucks
Knights and Pettard on " chicken feed "
Newy contract wasn't great
Axel highly performance based
Don't forget we signed up Rance during the year ( probable increase would have been one of these retireees total payment if not 2 )

Out of those, Knights was on decent coin. To pick someone up as a free agent a minimum of $350k would be required to entice them to come over as a general rule.

I don't think that they imagined he'd be so injury prone when they got him so I'd imagine those "conditions" would not have been too stringent IMHO.

Newy was on the vets list also, so that doesn't really free up much coin

imagination - its one of the things that separates us from the lower aniamls, id imagine
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

What's he want $300 per year for 3 years?  I would be ok with that if there was a performance clause

Isn't the average afl wage abt 300k? And I thought performance based contracts were largely outlawed in the afl about 15 years ago, may be a small performance based element in them
