Summary

* Tense at the end?
Yes it was and we've been in that situation a couple of times this year and either lost (Saints) or drawn (Dogs) the game. Heart in mouth stuff there for a while.

* 100 G at the G - 80k would feel like 100k and with what's at stake?
Number of things at stake - 4 points and a big game against Carlton. We're also celebrating our 100 years with a big function on friday night, pre-game at Punt Rd and also the game. It's a massive week for the club.

* Hughes and Morton's efforts?
Very satisfying. Cleve has kicked 11 in past 2 games at Coburg. Been pushing the door down and came in with a bang. One of the reasons why we picked him was his outstanding kicking. And he showed that on the weekend.

* Bowden?
Joel had a different role on the weekend after playing up forward recently. We had him earmarked playing back on a tall (Lade). It didn't work out that way and he did a great job whereever he played.

* Luke McGuane?
He was playing on Motlop. Motlop had a few goals before he was doing okay and giving his all. Unfortunately tore a hammy and will miss a couple of weeks.

* What did Terry say about the last quarter. Did you shut shop too early?
We haven't talked about that. We haven't done the match review. We just wanted to rejoice in the victory and congratulate the played involved. We'll do the match review either or tomorrow actually and get onto Carlton.

* Micky McGuane said that's great as we've won two in a row and it's amazing how you can feed off that enthusiasm and belief in the victory. Not get caught up in it but experience what victory means.
Miller said that's spot on. You get a feel of what it's like, the younger players get a feel of what victory is like and want to be apart of it more and more. Focussing on the last 20 minutes loses the point of that.

* Does Terry still have designated crunch games?
No not this year. In the past yes. We haven't had one yet and perhaps Terry is falling away from that idea at the moment. Everyone at Richmond knows the importance of this game. The Carlton game won't be a crunch game. He's moved away from that idea. Greg said he knows it's a crunch game for him (laughs).

* Morton?
It's great kicking for goal by both Morton and Cleve. We got Mitch from the West Coast because he knows where the goals are. Even in his brief career at the Eagles he averaged 2-3 goals. At Punt Rd he's either kicking goals or part of the goal assist program we have. Cleve as I said before - 17 goals in 3 weeks. He's in really good form.

* Cotchin - Micky McGuane said what he's doing now without a preseason shows how much talent he's got?
Outstanding effort. He couldn't do anything during the preseason - can't jog, can't get fit. Had a 3-4 week program leading into playing at Coburg and he ends up playing senior footy after just 3-4 weeks.

* Pre-game at Pund Rd?
Still bookings available for the Friday night gala function. We'll reinact some of that function the following day on the ground at Punt Rd before the big game. All welcome.
