Wallace interview on 3XX

* Rawlings would be tearing the paint off the walls at half-time. So best place to be is in the commentary box.

* Funny the mental side of the game. Sees Coburg in first half expecting to beat Bendigo given they are a bottom side. Taking pot shots from the boundary and just doing dumb things.

* Essendon have senior players running around for Bendigo this week because they have gone with younger players - Rama, Laycock, Michael.

* Last night - take the game as a whole instead of breaking it up into quarter. Would've taken a 4 goal lead at 3.4 time. Comfortable with the result but not the 3rd quarter.

* Essendon have been loose. Wanted us to emphasize lowering our eyes and pressure.

* Reality is you can't fit everyone in the senior side. Tivs has been in great form but so have those in the seniors so he can't get in. Tivs knows if the door opens (say an injury to Sugar) then he'll still get a game. The door hasn't been shut like it has for Peverill and Johnson at Essendon.

* Had a go at Garry Lyon comparing us to Hawthorn. The Hawks have a far more experienced side. Lyon writes an article and everyone believes it.

* We played 3 of the 4 undefeated sides which the 4th and 5th teams haven't been able to beat. So need to keep the heads up and beat the rest.

* Foley feels like he belongs at this level thanks to the Hall of Fame. Had a good first half last week on Ling but had a job done on him in the second half. Good on Axel to come out last night and win B.O.G.
